USS Franklin[]

The USS Franklin is one of Starfleet's most decorated ships, despite having disappeared over 100 years ago. It was the first-ever Earth ship capable of reaching warp 4. After many successful missions, the Franklin mysteriously vanished after traveling through the Gagarin Radiation Belt. It was found in the year 2263 by the crew of the Enterprise. They were able to utilize the ship's antiquated technology to defeat Krall and his Swarm.

The Swarm[]
The Swarm is here. Deadly foes to civilians and military fleets, the galaxy is plagued by theses enemies from Beyond. Even now, they relentlessly attack their victims, regardless of allegiance to Federation, Romulan, or Klingon. They must be pushed back, or we all will suffer.
The Federation has devised a solution, and - in either magnanimity or foolishness - will allow independent commanders the right to earn this Swarm-killing starship, the USS Franklin.
These hostiles present an opportunity for players levels 15 and above to obtain core resources - Parsteel, Tritanium or Dilithium tokens. The USS Franklin has the highest effectiveness of defeating these hostiles and completing your new Swarm Kill Daily Goals awards "Swarm Biominerals" that you can exchange in your refinery for substantial amounts of Parsteel, Titanium or Dilithium. These new Daily Goals are permanent additions to the game!
The higher your Franklin's tier, the higher level Swarm you will be able to kill effectively. Use this table as a rough guide for where your ship should be, given your Operations level:
Tier 1: Level 17
Tier 2: Level 18
Tier 3: Level 20
Tier 4: Level 22
Tier 5: Level 24
Tier 6: Level 26
Tier 7: Level 28
Tier 8: Level 30
Tier 9: Level 32
In order to tier up your ship, you will need not only typical resources but also Frequency Modulators you earn by defeating Swarms, as well as unique parts obtained by completing the mission chain started in the Elona system.
Systems that will be containing Swarm Hostiles are spread throughout the galaxy. They will have "swirly" art in the Galaxy Map so you can easily identify their location, and their names are as follows:

Caldik [16]
Altamid [17]

Notes[]
New information will be added soon.

Level 15 Swarm are interceptors you need a phindra and your ship strength number should be at least 16,000 but exactly that number you can take out only a few at a time. Leveling up your ship will allow you to take out the swarms 7 or more at a time and yield you only 15 milestone points for your daily goals for 20 swarm at first until you reach a certain level and it increase to 40 then 50 for the same milestone.
