Star Trek: Fleet Command Wiki

In accordance with the new rules including blocking policy due to come into affect on the 1st of April. This page will show the current rules for editing or contributing to the STFC Wiki.

  • Keep it civil: Do not make personal attacks on other people. If you need to criticize another user’s argument, do so without attacking them as a person. Do not use bigoted language, including slurs which degrade another person or group of people based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc.
  • Be a productive member of the wiki: Contribute to the wiki in line with the established processes and conventions. Need help? Ask an Administrator at that link! Disrupting the wiki with “edit warring” over differing opinions of a topic with another user or group of users is not productive.
  • Do not engage in excessive self-promotion: The wiki is a collaborative community resource for the topic at hand. It is NOT a free place to advertise a 'related' website, YouTube channel, blog, social media account, etc. Have a question about whether your link would be welcome? Ask an administrator!
  • Do not harass other users: If somebody asks you to stop posting certain content on their wall, respect their wishes. It is their wall.
  • Do follow community guidelines for formatting: More info at the above link. When a community has established formatting, it’s important to adhere to that, especially when templates or spoiler content is involved or a new page not connecting with the current layout, an open discussion needs to happen at the above link for this STFC Wiki community.
  • Create a Discussion or Blog if you want to start a discussion or topic outside the current layout of the design. While still adhering to the gist of the main rules, ie: excessive spam or promotion & Wiki general TOU. As then your personal thoughts are then still shared with the wider community of the STFC Wiki and it is also the Wiki Fandom desired angle of the social aspect of a wiki in general
  • Blocked from the Wiki?: These are often mainly due to highly destructive or spam like behaviour, and can be appealed at any time by joining the STFC Wiki Discord, linked in the sidebar on most pages, and posting or pinging a staff member in the Wiki Submissions Channel.
