Advance your station and fleet! The Galaxy Tree can be unlocked with an R&D Department of level 20. Your new research allows for more effective navigation of the Galaxy, enhanced mining and refining, better loot, improved officers, and advanced combat capabilities. As with all Research trees, different nodes and levels within those nodes require higher levels of your R&D Department.
Unique to the Galaxy Research Tree, you can unlock the first level of much of research tree once you reach a certain R&D level threshold. At R&D level 20, you can research the first level of each normal (non-Prime) research node in the first third of the Galaxy research tree. At level 25, you can research the first level of each research node in the second third of the research tree. Finally, at level 31, you can research the first level of each research node in the final third of the research tree.
The Galaxy Tree provides bonuses in the following areas:
Enhanced Galaxy Travel
• Increase warp speed for all ships, to travel between star systems faster;
• Regenerate shields faster for Interceptors, Explorers, and Battleships, allowing them to return to combat sooner.
Faster mining and better refining
• Mine resources and materials faster by increasing the mining rate of Parsteel, Tritanium, and Dilithium; Gas, Ore, and Crystal; and Corrupted and Decoded Data;
• Gain further increases to the mining rate of Crystal for Klingon players, Gas for Federation players, and Ore for Romulan players;
• Refine more batches at a time with Prime Research for refining 3 ★ Gas, Ore, and Crystal.
Improved Officers
• Increase all Officer stats (attack, defense, and health);
• Gain further increases to attack and defense for all Officers.
• Gain even more Officer stats with the Prime Officer Stats Research.
Survey ship improvements
• Increase the protected cargo of Survey ships;
• Increase the cost efficiency (reducing the cost in Tritanium and Dilithium) and reduce repair time of Survey ships.
Upgrade ship components with less refined materials and ship parts
• Increase rewards of Parsteel, Tritanium, and Dilithium for defeating hostiles;
• For each faction, earn more reputation points for defeating faction hostiles (faction point losses are also increased);
• Increase faction point gains further with additional nodes available only to players of each faction when using a ship from that faction (faction point losses are also increased).
Become more effective against the Swarm when using the USS Franklin
• Increase the weapon damage, accuracy, and armor of the USS Franklin against Swarm hostiles;
• Reduce the Dodge of Swarm hostiles when using the USS Franklin.
Upgrade ship components with less refined materials and ship parts
• Increase the cost efficiency of upgrading ship components with ship parts and refined materials, making them cheaper to upgrade;
• Increase the cost efficiency of upgrading faction ship components further, in Crystal for Klingon ships, Gas for Federation ships, and Ore for Romulan ships.
Make Your Station Harder to Defeat
• Add a flat bonus to the defense stats of the Station (Dodge, Armor, and Shields) in the first round of combat;
• Increase the hull health of all Defense Platforms;
• Increase the damage done when defending the Station.
Further Combat Improvements
• Increase hull health and shield health for all ships;
• Increase critical damage for all ships;
• Reduce the critical damage of opponents;
• Increase the weapon damage of all ships.
Daily Goals
Daily Goal is an important part of the game’s economy. For a lot of our players, daily goals drive the majority of their in-game progression. In the last few months, we closely monitored the
completion rates across the different player levels, gathered player feedback and evaluate changes to the setup.
The recent update you saw with the new Daily Swarm Goals marked the first step on improving the ability to engage with the feature. This update is the next, even more drastic step.
We will continue to monitor the feature to drive future improvements.

Daily Goal Difficulty
We revisited the difficulty of several daily goals. This includes chest opening, Alliance Help, Hostiles, Military Might, Mission Completion as well as Research and Module Goals.
Daily Goal Rewards
Across the board, we drastically improved the rewards of both the Daily Goals themselves and their Meta Rewards. The following resources are seeing an increase.
• Parsteel
• Ship Parts (Interceptor, Explorer, Battleship, Survey)
• Speed Up Tokens & Repair Tokens
• Latinum Rewards

Keep in mind ALL research items are affected by bonuses across the board 1 ex: if your have Prime Research also makes the 'time redundant' different for all and other items. Therefore, all posted items costs are also 'average' and not to be used as an 'exact'.
